West, Lane & Schlager (WLS) was formed in 1996 by Eric West, Richard Lane and Gary Schlager, three real estate veterans with prior experience at the largest real estate brokerage companies in the country. 

Eric, Rich and Gary shared a common vision, which led to the creation of a company whose executives and support staff hold similar ideals:

From donating our time and dollars to community projects (like the Jewish Housing and Community Development Corporation of Greater Washington and the Children's Hospital Golf Classic) to hosting industry events like the Nonprofit CFO of the Year Awards  and the Applied Knowledge Lunch Series, WLS is committed to staying involved in the Washington, DC area.

We are committed to the environment. Our "green" space and recycling practices keep our office a healthy, productive environment for our staff. We are committed to helping our brokers become LEED Accredited, so that our clients may better understand the LEED certification process and how to incorporate sustainable practices into their own organizations.
